Fall simulation of liquid droplets in the Blender (article from the blog movement)

This video has been prepared using a fluid simulation function of open three-dimensional computer graphics software "Blender" of the source.

 

The following is the detailed.

Area to carry out the simulation (Domain) is a 2.0 × 2.0 × 16.0,
The height of the droplet (Fluid) is 10.0, the size of the droplet was spherical with a diameter of 0.2.
Also, Ayaka' the secretary of efforts, we placed the fluid (Fluid) at the bottom of the Domain in order to confirm or not can crown is formed.

The gravitational acceleration as a condition in the longitudinal direction (Z direction) of the Domain
-9.810 Defines the (liquid droplets toward the initial fluid).

Other settings have been the Final of Resolution 800.

Calculation time is about 15 minutes.
Since Blender's request memory was 765.94MB, it might was good even if it raise a little more Resolution.
There was less of a problem try to implement

【Problems】

- Fluid in the initial placement is rippling
- Droplets falling is divided into a plurality (divided into three mass video)

Although I tried to appropriately run we have problem remains.
Because the droplets fall is the specialty of the Secretary-like, for the study after this we will try to Random.
